Our Concord team starts from Stimel Drive, and the first visit is about your kitchen as it works today: where you prep, where people gather and what runs out of space first. From there we plan cabinets, counters, lighting and outlets together. If the plan adds an island, moves the range or opens a wall, it also adds framing, circuits and venting, and those drawings go to the City’s Permit Center at 1950 Parkside Drive with the permit application. A larger project can combine the kitchen with flooring, paint and bathrooms as one whole-house remodel.
Bathroom remodels range from new tile, vanity and fixtures to full rebuilds with a walk-in shower, new subfloor and ventilation. Yes. California law lets most single-family lots add an accessory dwelling unit, and often a junior ADU inside the house as well; California HCD publishes the state ADU and junior ADU law cities apply. A detached backyard unit, a garage conversion or an addition to the main house are the usual paths, and lot size, setbacks and utility routes decide which fits.
In Concord, plans go to the City’s Permit Center at 1950 Parkside Drive. We prepare the drawings, submit them, answer plan-check comments and build through final inspection; for a home in a neighboring city we file with that city instead. Warm, dry summers dry out roofing, paint and deck boards, and cool, wet winters find every weak spot. When we replace a roof we check the decking, flashing and attic ventilation underneath, and we look at gutters and drainage so water moves away from the foundation.
