This Privacy Policy explains what information EcoStar Remodeling & Construction ("EcoStar", "we", "us" or "our") collects when you visit ecosremodeling.com, send us a form or call us, why we use it, who receives it and how you can change your choices. It replaces the policy last updated on 13 Jan 2026.

- We collect what you send us (name, phone, email, address or ZIP code, the project you describe), call details, and how you use and reached the site.
- We use it to answer your request and carry out your project, to measure and improve the site and our ads, and to keep the site secure.
- Google Analytics, our ad measurement tools (Google Ads, Meta) and call tracking start when you first scroll, click, type or tap on the site. You can switch them off at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
- Giving us your details is voluntary, but without them we cannot reply to you.
- We do not sell your personal information.

EcoStar Remodeling & Construction, California contractor license #1034806, main headquarters 15165 Ventura Blvd, Suite #315, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403, with offices in the Bay Area, Dallas and Seattle listed at the bottom of every page. For privacy questions and requests, email contact@ecosremodeling.com.
The website, its forms and the record of cookie choices are run for us by our website service provider, NZ Marketing, using the service providers named under "Who receives your information" below.
What we collect
- Forms and project quizzes: your name, phone number, email address, address, city or ZIP code, the service and project details you choose or write, how you heard about us, the page you sent the form from and the time you sent it.
- Calls: calls to the phone numbers on this site go through our call-tracking provider, which records the calling number, the time and length of the call, and which page, search or ad led to it; calls may be recorded.
- Email and texts: your email address or phone number and what you write to us.
- Technical data: your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type and language, and your approximate location derived from the IP address.
- Use of the site: the pages you view, the time spent on them, clicks on our phone numbers and email links, and form starts and sends.
- How you reached us: the page you first landed on, the website that sent you (referrer), campaign tags in the link (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content) and ad click ids in the link (gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid, msclkid).
- Cookies and similar ids: the cookies and browser storage listed in the table below, including an anonymous visitor id for your cookie choice.
Why we use it
- Form, call, email and text details: to answer your request, prepare a quote, schedule visits and carry out your project, to contact you about it by phone, text or email, and to keep a record of your request.
- Offers and news: to tell you about services similar to those you asked about, unless you opted out; every marketing email carries an unsubscribe link.
- Call recordings: to check the quality of our service and to keep a record of what was agreed on the call.
- Technical data and use of the site: to run and secure the site, to block spam, and to measure which pages work so we can improve them.
- How you reached us and ad click ids: to know which search, website, campaign or ad brought each request and call, and to measure our ads.
- Hashed contact details: when you came from one of our ads, your email and phone number, in hashed form (SHA-256, so the platform can match them but not read them), together with the ad click id, so the advertising platform can tell us that the ad led to a request.
- Advertising audiences: to show our ads on Google and Meta to people who visited the site.
- Cookie choice and visitor id: to remember your choice and to keep a record of it.
Who receives your information
- Analytics provider (Google, Google Analytics): pages viewed, clicks, form events, technical data, campaign tags and ad click ids, to measure the use of the site.
- Advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta) for ad measurement: pages viewed, ad click ids, cookie identifiers and hashed contact details, to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who visited the site.
- Marketing analytics (HubSpot): pages viewed and a cookie identifier, to measure our marketing.
- Call tracking (CallRail): call details and recordings, and the page, search or ad that led to the call, to connect calls to our team and measure our ads.
- Hosting and delivery providers (GitLab, Cloudflare): technical data in their server logs, to serve the website.
- Form service and cookie choice log (Cloudflare): what you send through a form, the page and how you reached us, and the record of your cookie choice, to store them and deliver your request to us.
- AI service provider (Google Gemini): the text of your request, to check it for spam before it reaches us.
- Email service (Google Gmail): your request, to deliver it to the office that serves your area.
- Spreadsheet and automation services (Google Sheets, Zapier): the answers to our project quizzes and some forms, to record them for our team.
- Embedded content (Google Maps, YouTube, Trustindex): maps, videos and our reviews on some pages load from these services, which receive your IP address and technical data and may set their own cookies, to show that content.
- Our team and offices: everything you send us, to answer you and carry out your project.
- Authorities: only when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, property or safety.
- A successor: if our business is merged, sold or transferred, the records needed to continue serving you.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing. Google may also use information from sites that use its services as described in how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We do not collect payment card details on this site.
Giving us information is voluntary
You do not have to give us any personal information. Without your name and phone number or email we cannot reply to your request. You can use the site with analytics and advertising tools switched off.

How to change your choice: use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. Switch Analytics or Advertising off and save: those tools stop at once, never load again on this browser and their cookies are deleted. You can switch them back on the same way. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings (in most browsers under Settings, then Privacy or Cookies); the site keeps working without them.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Our website does not change what it does when your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. To stop analytics and advertising tools, use Cookie settings.
Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may withdraw any consent you gave: withdrawing stops future use, it does not undo use before it. You may opt out of our marketing messages at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us. To ask, email contact@ecosremodeling.com; we may ask you to confirm details that match what we hold before we act on a request. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
Shine the Light: California residents with an established business relationship with us can ask once a year about sharing of their personal information with third parties for those parties' direct marketing; we do not share it for that purpose.
How long we keep it
- Requests, calls, recordings and project records: only as long as needed for the purposes in this policy, to meet our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
- Usage data: generally for a shorter period, except when it is used to strengthen security or improve the site, or when the law requires longer.
- Cookie choice record: 12 months from your choice.
- Google Analytics data: as set in our Google Analytics accounts and the cookie durations in the table above.
Security and transfers
Information sent to and from the site is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and access to our systems is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Your information is processed at our offices and by our service providers, which may be in other states or countries where data protection laws differ.
Children
Our site does not address anyone under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and know that your child gave us personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
Third-party links
Our site links to websites we do not operate. We have no control over their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Changes to this policy
When we make a material change, we post the new version on this page with a new version number and effective date, and when the change affects the cookies or tools the notice covers, the cookie notice shows again on your next visit.
