What turf clients say

How is artificial turf installed?
1. Estimate. We measure the area, check drainage and talk about how you use the yard. 2. Removal. We take out the old grass and roots and grade the soil. 3. Base. A compacted base gives a level surface that drains. 4. Turf. We roll out the turf, seam the pieces, secure the edges and add infill. 5. Finish. We brush the fibers up and clean the site.
Using high-quality, durable materials and precision installation techniques, we create landscapes that look vibrant year-round while standing up to everyday wear and changing weather conditions. From the initial consultation to the final installation, EcoStar Turf is committed to exceptional craftsmanship, honest communication, and customer satisfaction, helping you enjoy a greener, cleaner, and more enjoyable outdoor living space for years to come.
What drives the cost of artificial turf?
The area and the turf product set most of the price. Removing the old lawn, the base, drainage for pet areas, edging along beds and walkways, and access for equipment add to it. We price each line in a free estimate, and you can spread the cost with our financing options.

FAQs
How long does artificial turf last?
Our premium artificial turf is designed to last 15–20 years or more with proper care. It is built to withstand heavy foot traffic, changing weather conditions, and everyday use while maintaining its natural appearance.
Does artificial turf require maintenance?
Yes, but significantly less than natural grass. Artificial turf doesn’t require mowing, watering, or fertilizing. Occasional rinsing, brushing, and removing debris will keep it looking clean, fresh, and performing at its best.
Is artificial turf safe for children and pets?
Absolutely. Our turf products are made from high-quality, non-toxic materials and provide a soft, durable surface that’s ideal for children and pets. We also offer specialized pet-friendly turf systems with excellent drainage and easy cleaning for added convenience.
Does Artificial Turf Need Special Drainage?
Water drains through the turf backing into the base below, so the base and the slope of the yard matter. Pet areas get a base built to drain and rinse clean.
Where Do You Install Artificial Turf?
Our crews work out of offices across California. In Northern California, see our Bay Area remodeling offices in Alameda, Concord, San Jose and San Mateo, plus Sacramento; in Southern California, our Los Angeles general contractor page covers Encino, Long Beach, Irvine and Rancho Cucamonga.
