At EcoStar Remodeling & Construction, we help Encino homeowners turn their remodeling dreams into reality. Whether you’re upgrading a kitchen, remodeling a bathroom, or planning a full home renovation, our team brings years of experience, reliable craftsmanship, and a commitment to excellence to every project. Our personalized approach ensures each renovation is tailored to your lifestyle, taste, and budget, without compromising on quality. ## Why Choose EcoStar Remodeling & Construction in Encino, CA? Encino is known for its diverse architecture and design tastes, from mid-century modern to Spanish colonial. At EcoStar Remodeling & Construction, we respect that history while introducing innovative solutions that improve comfort, efficiency, and home value. Our California license is CSLB 1034806 (B, General Building), with a contractor bond and workers' compensation insurance on the state record. Clients across Encino trust us for our: - Honest, upfront pricing - Licensed and insured professionals - Clear communication throughout the project - Use of eco-friendly materials whenever possible - Unmatched attention to detail Kitchen remodel by EcoStar Remodeling & Construction ## What does a kitchen remodel in Encino involve? Kitchen remodels in Encino range from new cabinets, counters and lighting in the same footprint to a full gut that opens the kitchen to the family room. The footprint decides most of the scope: when the sink, range and refrigerator stay where they are, the plumbing, gas and electrical work stays small; when a wall comes out, we first confirm whether it carries the roof, then plan the beam, the new circuits and the permit, which for an Encino house comes from the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS). We help you choose cabinets, counters, flooring and lighting, order the materials and book the inspections that new circuits, gas lines or moved walls need. Layouts and materials are on our [kitchen remodeling](https://ecosremodeling.com/services/kitchen-remodeling/) page. Bathroom remodel by EcoStar Remodeling & Construction ## Bathrooms, home additions and ADUs in Encino Replacing a vanity, tile and fixtures in place is the lightest bathroom job. Turning a tub into a walk-in shower or enlarging a primary bath changes the waterproofing, drain slope and ventilation, so we design those before you pick tile, and the plumbing and venting changes go on the LADBS permit with the rest of the job. See our [bathroom remodeling](https://ecosremodeling.com/services/bathroom-remodeling-services/) page. When the family needs more room, building on is the alternative to selling and buying: a bedroom or bathroom addition, a [garage conversion](https://ecosremodeling.com/services/garage-conversion/) or a detached [ADU](https://ecosremodeling.com/services/adu/) in the backyard. State law, summarized by California HCD, lets most single-family lots add an ADU and often a junior ADU inside the house. Encino is part of the City of Los Angeles, so plans go to the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS). The trade-offs are a permit process and construction at home while the work is under way, so we check setbacks, slope and utilities on site first, then draw and submit the plans and build through final inspection. New shingle roof installed by EcoStar Remodeling & Construction ## Roofing, foundations, decks and driveways on Encino homes Encino lies in the San Fernando Valley, where the 1994 Northridge earthquake (magnitude 6.7) was centered. On an older house with a raised wood floor, bolting the frame to the foundation and bracing the cripple walls is a worthwhile upgrade, and California's Earthquake Brace + Bolt program offers retrofit grants for qualifying houses in eligible ZIP codes. When we replace a roof, we check the decking and flashing underneath and make sure rainwater drains away from the foundation. For a driveway, we break out the old slab, regrade and compact the base so water runs toward the street rather than the garage, then pour concrete or lay pavers; with pavers, one cracked section can be replaced later. For a backyard deck with little upkeep, composite (wood-plastic) boards resist rot and decay and need no paint, though some can stain, so we talk through colors and where the grill goes. Whether a deck needs a permit depends on its height and how it attaches to the house; we handle the permit when one is required. We also build patio covers. See [roofing](https://ecosremodeling.com/services/roofing-services/), [foundation repair](https://ecosremodeling.com/services/foundation/) and [deck building](https://ecosremodeling.com/services/deck-builders/). ### Proudly Serving Encino and the Nearby Valley No matter where you live in LA, whether it’s Hollywood, Downtown, Santa Monica, or Northridge, we’re ready to bring your vision to life. I reached out for bids for a new roof. I met Zane over the phone and set up a meeting. He arrived and we talked about what I was interested in doing. I told him the roof was the priority because my insurance company threatened to cancel me. He agreed that my roof did need a replacement and the reason why insurance companies have issues with old roofs. He laid out some numbers for me about what I was interested in. We talked roof extension, gutters, solar panel cost, battery system an a going with a lighter color. All these things and also some interior lighting the kitchen area. I have to say that after a few hours of his time we reached and agreement on what I was hoping for during the t he process. How fast, the time involved and price were considered. The contract was the biggest issue of course and how much I could afford. EchoStar made me a good offer for the work and I felt very satisfied with the decision to go with eccstar. I was happy with how fast the roof was stripped and preped. The work crews were amazing and did very good work. I did not have many concerns and if I did there was always someone to help answer my questions. Zane the project manager was in contact with me the whole time. I was very happy with his customer service and also his caring of my satisfaction throughout the construction phase. I would highly recommend this company for any construction needs. They have a lot of good worker and I was very impressed and happy with my decision going with EcoStar. First of all, thank you, Kennet. I truly appreciate the incredible work you and Ecostar Remodeling & Construction did on my attic insulation. I’ve done several home improvement projects over the years, but I’ve honestly never experienced this level of professionalism, precision, and care. From the initial inspection to the final walkthrough, everything was explained clearly and handled flawlessly. The crew was punctual, clean, and extremely detail-oriented. The work was done beyond code, using high-quality materials, with zero shortcuts. The difference in temperature and overall comfort in my home was immediate, and I noticed improved energy efficiency right away. I couldn’t be happier with the results. I wasn’t sure how involved this project would be, but the crew really simplified things. The upgraded space feels more modern and easier to use, and the whole process felt surprisingly smooth. I reached out to Rotem and his company to see if my home’s roof was still under warranty. Unfortunately, the warranty did not transfer over but he gave me a good quote on the repair. Rotem is very professional and his explanation of the work was thorough. He also advised on which repairs around the house can wait, and what needed to be prioritized. He’s a good guy and a pleasure to deal with. If you’re shopping around for quotes, Rotem and Ecostar is a great point of reference no matter which company you go with. They are on my short list of home repair contractors. They handled everything patching cracks, smoothing walls, and applying flawless paint throughout the home. The crew was friendly and careful with our furniture. The colors came out perfect, and the place looks brighter and more modern. Couldn’t be happier with the result.
